Packaging Redesign

LUNA® is a division of the CLIFF® Bar company and similarly makes all-natural snack/meal bars.  The bars are specifically targeted towards women on the go. The original packaging didn't convey the values of the company well.  In fact, the pattern and colors used on the box was almost reminiscent of the designs used on the boxes of feminine products. 

 

While LUNA definitely did not have the worst packaging, it could still be more representative of the product. I didn't feel that it sent the message that the bars are all-natural. For my re-design, I incorporated a cleaner, simpler, and more modern look to the box.  The goal was to convey the idea of purity and a back-to-the-basics attitude.  The company is also known for being fun, approachable, and interacive with it's customers, so the new packaging had to convey this attitude as well.
